We built Libero because we've lived the problem.
Our mission is simple: help people with invisible disabilities live without limits. For people with Raynaud’s, that starts with warm hands – and it starts with Libero.
The people making Libero possible
Meet Maria Julia, the founder who built what she needed.
Maria Julia has lived with invisible disabilities most of her life, and so have people she loves. When she combined that experience with 25 years of product design, the question wasn’t ‘is there a market?’ It was ‘why hasn’t anyone fixed this yet?’ That’s Totum Tech.
Maria Julia Guimaraes
CEO & Head of Design
Maria Julia spent 20 years designing products that change how people live — from urban spaces to digital interfaces. Then she turned that lens on her own experience with invisible disabilities. The result is Libero: a product designed not just for functionality, but for dignity.
Val Florimond, CTO, building the technical infrastructure that makes Libero a reality.
Val Florimond
CTO
Val has spent 25 years building things that can’t fail. Automotive. Medical devices. Industries where precision isn’t a nice-to-have — it’s the whole job. As an electrical engineer who’s led teams in startups and large corporations alike, he’s seen every stage of product development firsthand. He joined Totum Tech because Libero deserved that level of rigour. And because, frankly, he’s building something worth getting right.
